I heard someone say this week that it is almost Christmas again!
We have so much more to do at the Homes before we start making puddings and wrapping pressies!

First on the list is the new Admin block which will provide extra office space, a recreation room for the nursing staff, a staff flat and a high care unit with facilities for family visitors. Also in the mix is a waiting room, dressing room, and a  bathroom renovation. These have all become necessary as the Homes reputation has spread throughout KZN and as a result the Homes are full to capacity.
The plans have been passed and are ready for Tender. Hopefully it will not be too long before the first sod is turned.

Next on the list is the  ANNUAL  FETE which will take place in Saturday 27th October, 2012.
It promises to be the usual fantastic community affair and an event in the Eshowe calender that should not be missed!!!!
Our generous friends have  been donating and offering collectibles for the Knick Knack stall and we have some beautiful bone china in storage as well as linen and household goods.
The craft groups have been busy with cards and quilts, fab cushions, bags, and this year we are especially catering for the young ones with toys and clothes.

The DRC ladies have already volunteered their pancake making skills and Paul will be doing his usual stunning bargain breakfast.
