Christmas is here!

Christmas is a special time at the Homes not only because families are more likely to pay a visit to their
elderly relatives but also because of the festive atmosphere and delicious food.

Paul's menu this year is Glazed Gammon with Roasted Chicken, potatoes and butternut, with rice and broccoli and cauliflower gratin.
Dessert is Christmas Trifle and if anyone has any room left there are always the mince pies if there are any left by Christmas

These are especially delicious and have been selling like hot cakes.......er... mince pies which by the way are great served slightly warm with cream or boozy butter. Scroll down for the recipe. Various companies and private individuals contribute to the Christmas lunch and guests who are coming this year are providing the crackers and wine.

Linda and her staff have decorated the halls and lounges absolutely beautifully and it all looks so festive and welcoming.

My Very Best Wishes to all at the Homes for a Wonderful Christmas and a Great New Year.

To all our Donors and Friends who have been so generous and supportive this year, we wish you a Joyful Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
